Samatha Spa

The oceanfront Samatha Spa is a restful wellness facility that explores the naturally inspired healing and beauty rituals of Bali. Private treatment rooms have been designed for personal Rejuvenation of body, mind and spirit. Therapeutic massage together with other healthy lifestyle practices is Carried out in matching outdoor pavilions where the rhythmic sound of the sea serenades the soul.

How to Spa

Arrival

We encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your schedule appointment to allow time to check in and familiarize with our facility.
Please be prompt in your arrival as all appointment will end on time and arriving late will shorten your spa treatment.

Recommendation

Men are advised to shave at least three hours before facial. For pregnant women, it is our recommendation that stimulating body treatments are not appropriate and no body massage during the first trimester.
Please avoid sunbathing, eating a heavy meal, and consuming alcohol prior to treatment as this may negatively affect your experience.

Spa Attire

Please wear comfortable attire. Disposable underwear, bathrobe, and towel will be provided. Please be assured that you will be discreetly covered at all times during treatments regardless of what you wear.

General Spa Information

Spa guest must be a minimum of 12 years old.
The use of cellular phone and smoking is prohibited within The Spa.
Aromatherapy oils are most effectives is left on the body for at least 12 hours after treatments.
Spa retail return policy: items purchase in the spa retail area is non-returnable, although exchange can be made on case to case basis.

Cancellation

A minimum 8 hours notice for cancellation or change of appointment is required to avoid being charge 50% of the listed price. A full amount will be charge for No show.

The Ocean Splendor [2, 5 hrs]
This detoxification treatment starts with Balinese massage, then rich mineral sea salt scrub and is followed by hydrating seaweed body mask. The experiences will be ended with a mini facial.

Sea Wave Massage [60min / 90min]
An ancient rituals of traditional Balinese massage technique using palming, stretching, effleurage and pressure points to relief tension, improve blood flow, Harmonize your body mind and spirit.

Sliming Silk Infusion [2 hrs]
Massage with slimming body oil, then is followed by sea mineral salt scrub and seaweed mask.

SPA RITUALS

The Royal Java [2 hrs]
This package includes: ginger foot ritual, one hour Balinese massage, traditional lulur scrub, yogurt mask for moisturize and leaving your skin velvety soft and relax in a Balinese flower bath.

Samatha Rejuvenation Day [3,5 hrs]
Starts with 60 minutes relaxing Intuitive Balinese massage, and then followed by coconut and vanilla body exfoliation continue with avocado hair stimulation and energizing mini facial. The finale, a rejuvenating lunch at your leisure in a private bale by the pool.

The New You [2 hrs]
This package includes: ginger foot ritual, full body therapeutic massage with warm oil, followed by ginger lime body scrub, and ended with Balinese flower petal bath.

Ayurveda Retreat [2,5 hrs]
This package ritual includes a 90 minute aromatic warm oil massage. Then followed by ayurvedic body scrub and shirodara - gently poured the warm oil onto your third eye in the middle of forehead.
